I cannot access any of my outlook or hotmail on my iPhone 5s. The password is not recognized on my phone but it works fine over the internet log on into mail accounts.

Frustrating!

I can send from my phone but cannot receive WLM because of this password problem.

Don't tell me to reset my email password and reconfigure my accounts because I have already done that.

My Live Mail program isn't working properly.  When I click on an e-mail message it is really slow to respond, or simply does not respond at all.  I have tried the repair program, which did not resolve the issue either.  I then uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live Mail, with no change.  I want to delete my account settings and start over, but don't know how.  What else might I try to solve this?
I can't seem to find a sent items folder in my windows live mail. On the left of my home pge I have quick views, then my account, then outbox then storage folders. Within storage folders I have all that was on my old outlook express before we change to Windows 7 and set up live mail (my son did this for us) There is a sent items folder within that but there is nothing in it. I used to easily be able to look through sent items (important sometimes) in Outlook express but I can;t seem to be able to do that now.

Hi there,

I have a 2010 Toshiba laptop with Windows 7.   I use Windows Live Mail, and like the others above, I have lost several folders in which I store favored emails.

I lost a very important folder yesterday and spent hours on the telephone with tech support from my ISP which is my telephone company.   They are advising me to use OUTLOOK rather than Windows Live Mail.  But before I switch I want very much to find my lost folder, it contained short notes from a teacher.

I've tried the methods listed above, but they didn't work, but then, I have Windows 7 -- any ideas to save me?

Split from a similar thread. Please don't hijack others' threads - it's very confusing for all concerned. A solution for Windows 7 will not necessarily work on Windows 8.1 and vice versa

Why am I receiving message "The contents of this message cannot be found"?  Randomly in various folders.

I am using Vista HP32bit (HP) with WLM Build 15.4.3555.0308

The error in title appears sometimes when switching from mail to calender.

I searched the forum and found the following answer.

Close Windows Live Mail
Start up regedit, and look for this key in the left pane:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail
In the right pane look for the DWord:-
Calendar UI View State
and delete it.
Close regedit and restart Windows Live Mail

I did this but without success.

The key is recreated.

Any other help please.

David

I am using Windows Live Mail 2011 and 2 days ago I stopped receiving all emails. It authorizes OK and I can still send emails.

Could someone please help?

I have recently changed ISP and Windows Live Mail no longer sends from this account - receiving is fine.

I have contacted the email provider and checked the incoming and outgoing server details, and they directed me here to ask for help!

The error message that I receive is as follows:

The connection to the server has failed.

Subject 'Test'
Server: 'mail.tpg.com.au'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013

I am now using Telstra Broadband ISP, and it is a TPG email account.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Buffie
