I use windows mail and can receive email.  When I try to send email to anyone, I get the following error:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'reply if you receive', Account: 'Amy Logan', Server: 'smtp.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 The message you attempted to send was determined to be spam. Please visit http://www.verizon.net/spamfaq for more information.', Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69

I've spoken with verizon multiple times, they cannot help because if i login to my verizon.net account, I can send/receive fine, but it's not

user friendly, I just love windows mail.  Any suggestions?

It has been excruciating to send mail all week.  It takes forever. If I send it using my school mail (within Windows Mail), it is speedy and reliable.  I know there was a problem with syncing that is supposedly fixed, but this problem is different.  If I share from an app via Mail, it just goes in circles for 2-3 min.  Some times it goes and some times it doesn't.  It used to be a few seconds.  What happened?

This is true on my desktop and tablet, so I don't think it is the computer.  I did do updates on Wednesday via Windows Update.

I cannot open attachments in Windows Mail.  My operating system is Windows Vista.  Up until about a month ago I was able to open attachments with out a problem.  In June I downloaded the PC Cleaners program,  this program is no longer on my system and I am assuming this program had something to do with not being able to open attachments but after removing the program I am still unable to open attachments.  I can open the attachments on the Web Server but not in my Windows Mail.  Can someone help?
Right now I have my email on windows mail but it doesn't work right. Is there a way to get on outlook?

I have four email accounts in Windows Mail, one of them isn't used much, so I'd like it to be either at bottom of list, or third in list.

So I have:
Mine
Work
ONE IN QUESTION
Hotmail

The order in 'email accounts' is not the order shown on screen.

Can I move them/change order?

I have a gmail account

IMAP

It is synced with my Windows Mail

I am able to send email through my gmail account using windows mail. However, I am unable to send any email with attachments through WIndows Mail to Gmail server

Error code received:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Fw: Shriner's Trip to Topeka, Kansas', Account: 'pop.charter.net', Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I can send the same emails through a gmail account, but with windows mail, there are the above codes I receive after it times out.

I have tried the idea of changing the port from 25 to 587. no good.

Any others ideas?

I purchased a new computer with Windows 8 on it 2 weeks ago. Every time I open Mail I don't see any Home Ribbons or any ribbons available to me. I purchased a magazine yesterday  "Windows 8 The Essential Manual" where on page 121 it clearly shows a screen shot of Mail with the ribbons available.  Presently I am unable to access the Send/Receive button, forward buttons or any other button that were available in Windows 7.
Hello.

I recently bought a PC with Windows 7 and am using Windows Mail Live on it.  I have my iPhone 4s synched to my work email account so that I can pick up messages while on the road.  This worked just fine when it was synched to my old PC, which was running Outlook Express on XP.  Now, however, when I download my emails into Windows Mail Live, they remain on my iPhone 4s.  The messages used to disappear from the iPhone after being downloading into the old Outlook Express.  How can I get it to do this again?

Is it some kind of setting that needs to be changed on Windows Mail Live?  Or on my iPhone 4s?  Or both?  I'm not sure why this is suddenly happening.  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

PhillyRich
I have recently set up windows 8 on a new compaq pressario laptop and in general it is working fine but I can't get all emails using windows live mail. Some arrive and some don't. I know this because on my old system, which I am still using, using windows mail and vista home edition gets all my mail and it is not the same as on the new system.
