I logged into my SkyDrive account using the SkyDrive app on my Windows Phone 9 (Nokia 920) on Sept 29, 2013 yesterday round 12 noon. I have not figured out how to logout. Also, this situation has made me concerned that I will use up the data usage allowance on my AT& T Mobility account, so I have tried to keep the smartphone shutoff most of the time since then. Can you advise me?
So last night I unlock my windows phone and see that my girlfriends contact tile as well as my group tile for friends and family were no longer on my start screen. I thought maybe it was just a weird glitch and all I would have to do is pin them all to the start screen again but when I went into the people hub and into my contact list they were all no longer there. Any contacts that had been saved to my outlook.com account had vanished. All that was left on my phone were my facebook and linkedin contacts.
I then went onto my computer and signed into outlook.com and all of those contacts were nowhere to be found in People there either.
On top of that I had created a room on windows phone for me and my girlfriend but when I go into the room the only member I see is myself.
My Microsoft account won't always sync to my phone anymore and it doesn't sync my outlook.com contacts at all because they've somehow been erased. I went into people on outlook.com, manage contacts and then "restore deleted contacts" but it said there were no deleted contacts to restore.
I was using my outlook.com account to store all of my friends and family phone numbers and emails and now they are all gone.
What's more is that my Microsoft account is shown as "not up to date" on my phone and when it's not syncing it even affects my ability to do bing searches and even open up websites in IE and will even stop the people hub newsfeed from updating.
I don't know what to do! Someone help!!!
Hi there,
I have a live account that's used as a primary sign-in account for my Windows Phone. The same account is also linked to my WP dev account.
When outlook.com was introduced, I wanted to migrate to outlook.com, but I refrained from doing so due to this post : http://t.co/NYsSGcbVj8.
Its been an year now and I want to migrate to outlook.com (not create an alias, but to totally migrate). I was wondering if this is still an issue and if it is, are there any known workarounds?
I have Office 365 Home Premium on my Windows 7 Pro PC and I have a Windows 8 Phone.
My desktop Outlook Account uses Exchange ActiveSync
Some emails that show up in Outlook.com, on my Windows Phone 8 (server is bay-m.hotmail.com), on my iPAD (set up as MAPI) do not show up on my desktop Outlook.
It seems to me that this happens occasionally and only with threaded emails. My desktop Outlook does not thread emails (neither does the iPAD for that matter) whereas Outllok.com and Windows Phone 8 do.
So far as I can tell Contacts and Calendars all sync properly between desktop Outlook, Outlook.com and Windows Phone 8 (iPAD syncs properly with entries from the Windows world but calendar and contacts entered in iPAD do not show up in desktop Outlook, Outlook.com or Windows Phone 8) .
It is only desktop Outlook that is on occasion missing emails. This is a significant problem for me as desktop Outlook is where I organize my email and where I almost always reply to emails.
Two other things:
1. I've also experienced dragging and dropping an email in desktop Outlook from a folder to the Inbox and the email has disappeared from desktop Outlook altogether.
2. For emails that do not show up in desktop Outlook - I go to Outlook.com and move such an email from the Inbox to a folder --that email (which was not in my desktop Outlook Inbox) will then show up in that folder in desktop Outlook.
Any help with or explanation of this problem would be appreciated.

Hi all,
I need some help with my Skydrive please. I'll try and explain this the best I can.
I have my family photos on Skydrive. They're organised into yearly folders and then months within the folders.
When I log into Skydrive on a PC, or the Skydrive app on my Windows Phone, I can see all of the folders from 2003 through to 2013.
However, when I go to photos > albums on my Windows Phone or Surface RT I can only see some of the files, the rest just aren't there.
I was hoping that someone would be able to help.
Thanks in advance.
Steven
