So, I doubt this will be fixed as nothing else ever has in windows 8. It ran fine for 6 months, so I guess that's better than most people. I have still not received any answer to my last posts on windows error reporting service causing a blinking screen.
I have it disabled to allow my computer to work. Now, I can't go more than an hour without needing to fix something.
I went into the Windows Photo gallery that I've always used on every computer ever. It frequently has bugs, but they always work out. This time, it has been rendered useless. I already uninstalled and re-installed the program. I also ran a "fix". Neither
worked.
All of my photos are always uploaded into this--it is faster than anything else. I can use it to change the file size on multiple photos at once. I double clicked a photo in whatever that weird Photo viewer is(looks a lot like the gallery from essentials,
but isn't). I click edit. That usually brings you into the Gallery. It did, but the Gallery said it didn't exist. This happens occasionally, re-launching the program solves it. Instead I now get the error. ":Photo Gallery can't find a folder. " It then lists
any and every folder that I try to click on in the files on the left. So, C:User/Katie/Pictures, or Desktop. Nothing can be found. It tells me I can attempt to locate the files and bring them in. If I do that I'm told that all my photos are now hidden files
and cannot be imported. The same goes for anything on the desktop, any videos, everything. Apparently everything on my computer is now a hidden file.
I already un-installed and re-installed.
