Cannot install Windows Live Mail on Windows XP

I use Windows Live Mail  on my desktop, Windows 7,  and every so often I transfer files over as backup unto a laptop.

 

I had Windows live mail on the laptop, Windows XP,  but had a problem transferring the mail stuff over to it. I copied the mail folders but deleted the software from the Programs Folder in the hope of reinstalling it and then merging the new installaiton to my saved data folders. Well I cannot! Everything seems to install OK. When I go ctrl + Alt + Del sure enough it says WLMail is running but I can't see it. Also it is running in processes. When it seemed to install Ok I noticed it never got so far as to create a desktop icon etc. which usually happens when one installs new software. Looks like the installation process did not complete itself. I tried deleting everything using the Microsoft Fix It progam, the installation and uninstallation part, until blue in the face and tried over and over all day long even googling fruitlessly for answers but still nothing changed for me. Any ideas what the problem might be so I can fix it.

I use windows XP and have no access to video calls. though my web cam works perfectly on Skype. How do I access the web cam on messenger? 

windows live mail wont send out e mails

windows live mail wont send out  emails they go into the outbox and stay there - says "connecting".  Can receive e mails fine. Using windows XP.  any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated. Thanks

Live Mail failure to follow font size instruction

Windows Live Mail suddenly does not respond to font instructions (HTML).
Windows XP platform, Internet Explorer 8, but Firefox is preferred browser.
Uninstalling Live Mail and re-installation does not cure the fault.
The same installation program newly run (just now) on a laptop, also with Windows XP displayed no font format problem.
Advice would be welcome.

Uso o Windows XP, messenger versao mais atualizada para o XP e webcam Microsoft VX-3000. Nas conversas de video com pessoas q tem Windows 7 e o novo messenger, minha cam nao trava para mim mas quem recebe minha imagem reclama que nao existe movimento. Isso nao acontece com Skype, usando os mesmos contatos. O que acontece? Voces precisam corrigir alguma incompatibilidade que esta existindo entre o Messenger para o XP e o Messenger para o Windows 7 e 8?

I have a lot of mwssages in my inbox and would like to be able to glance somewhere to see the exact number regularly.  I am sure I could do this with Windows XP and probably am being a bit thick not knowing how to see in Windows Live Mail......

How can I have several contacts in one direction ?

Instead of  be sending the same mail to each contact, I want to have  in one direction  some group of contacts and so, I will be able to send  my mails in  pne single touch.

I use to have  this when  worked  Windows XP, but I can not do it using Windows 7
