I use Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail for my Email.

I cannot, in the Operating System, or the Email Program, locate any means to add a new contact, or save any sender's details in the contact file.

How to add a new contact?
I've been with wlmail under comcast and now trying to setup with att.net.  I'm been sending e-mails out to myself.  Instead of them going to the sent box they go to the Outbox.   In the error message it says

Unable to send or receive messages for the att.net (russellajay) account.
Your server has  unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Server: 'inbound.att.net' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol:
POP3 Port: 995 Secure(SSL): No.

The ATT tech said the server is pop3 incoming mail is inbound.att.net / port is 995 out going is outbound.att.net port 465.  Can someone please help me resolve these issue with setting up Windows Live with att.net.
I have a business acct with my service provider and a personal Hotmail account. Some emails are going to both accounts in my Windows Live Mail program. I have checked the offending senders to make sure they do not have both addresses and they do not but they still come thru to both email addresses??? Please help...

Is there a way to set an email background to black in Windows Live Mail?  Seems there ought to be since you can set the font to white.  I did this in Windows Mail for sending pictures since pics look better against a black background. If a black background cannot be set in Live Mail, what email software do you recommend for this?

Thanks.

Recently set up an gmail IMAP account in Windows LIve mail for a friend. She receives three copies of every email.  What do I do to fix this?
Now when I want to send an email to a "group" I am asked to supply a name from the group and put it beside or as a cc to the name of the group.  Any ideas what is going on, and more importantly how to get back to normal use of groups name to send email to several recipients?  If I could uninstall 2012 and reinstall Windows Live Mail 2011 that would be fine, as well.  Thanks
I am currently using Windows Live Mail with 2 accounts.

I have added a signature to one of these accounts.  There is a notification saying that accounts with no signature will use the default signature.

This means that the signature I assigned to one account is now assigned to both, which is very frustrating since I have to manually delete the signature every time I compose an e-mail from that account.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?  Why would Microsoft force you to have a signature on an account if you don't want one?????

I can not add a name to my hotmail group. You have failed to help me. Will you call me at <PII removed> ?
