CANNOT Access My Windowslive Account – PLEASE HELP

Hello,

 

I cannot log-on to my Windowslive account  which means I cannot get to my Windowslive Email account... and I do not know what in the heck is going on.... 

 

Upon trying to log-on I get a message about 'Looks like someone else has been trying to use your email account'... "click NEXT" and sends me to another page...

 

Then shows me a VERY OLD email address back about 10 years ago when I was at YAHOO... and wants to send me a new password... So, I had to set-up a new account at Outlook.com... and use this new email account to send me my new password...

 

Now upon trying to get Microsoft to send me a New Password... I CANNOT... Microsoft ask me 4 questions... (1) Other passwords that I have used... (2) Email subjects of email that I have sent... (3) Name of other folders that I made... (4) Email address of contacts...

 

Well short and sweet... (1) In 10 years I only used 1 password... (2) I only sent out 2 email subjects... (3) I never made a new folder... (4) I always let Outlook remember my contact email address...

 

So, now I am getting a automated response... "Sorry - you did not give us enough information - try a new request and fill out the form with more information".... Well, I have filled out the form with all the information that I have...

 

(1) How can I get away from the automated response and get a real live person to help me?

 

(2) How can I get my Microsoft account log-on problem fixed

How can I configure Windowslive accounts in WLM?

Hello,

I have tried adding Windowslive accounts(*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) to WLM with these two ways:
First: via choosing the sever type "Windows Live Hotmail" Or The 'http' server which automatically was chosen after finishing adding the account.


This is error while choosing 'windows live hotmail' as incoming sever type::
Unable to send or receive messages for the Windowslive (xxxxxx) account.

Server Error: 0x80048849
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849

This error while when I let WLM complete the settings with Http sever

Unable to send or receive messages for the Windowslive (XXX) account.

Server Error: 0x80048820
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820

Second: via choosing  incoming mail sever 'POP3' whose sever address is  'pop.windowslive.com' and port 995
Also, outgoing mail sever(SMTP) whose sever address is:  'SMTP.windowslive.com' with the port 465.



However, this error showed me::

Unable to send or receive messages for the Windowslive (XXX) account. The host 'pop.windowslive.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 11004

Although I have activated the 'pop' in windowslive account, this didn't no difference.

WindowsLive has nevers sent my e-mails. Get message box about incorrect server

In the 2 years I've had WindowsLive, I've never once been able to send an e-mail through it, yet it constantly pops up whenever I click an e-mail address or a "send us a message" link on a site.  I have to wait for it to pop up then click it off and type the e-mail address in manually. 
When I do try to use WindowsLive I always get a pop up message that says the Server is incorrect. It doesn't tell me what to do and I don't 
have a clue what as to what I'm supposed to do. 

Can anyone please tell me?  If it helps, I use a Dell Inspiron desktop running Windows7.  GoogleChrome is my browser as I've had too many 
problems with IE. (it still works for some sites). I had this problem when I still used IE.  Thanks to all who can help.

I get failure message when trying to send email via windows live.  But no details as to why.

I recently installed windows live- is it something about setting a default. I could not identify which file to

change the default on in the settings menu....any ideas??

Receive email from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** with topic “Windows Live – Email Alert !‏”, so is this genuine or fake?

Please can you help.  Whe I leave WINDOWSLIVE  OUTLOOK,  its staying connected, and not signing out, so it is open for any one to go in to . I need to be able to sign out . Thank you.
