Because my Live account was not working on-line I deleted 2011 and reinstalled 2012. I keep a number of email accounts here, but only the Live and Gmail accounts are updating. The three POP3 accounts including my Sky and Yahoo email. I have tried re-loading
but that does not change anything. Any suggestions?
Hi. I've checked the community for postings of other people having the same problem I am and I see different answers to the same question. Does anyone know why all of a sudden (today) I no longer get my Yahoo email into my Live/Outlook account? I had this
problem many months ago and don't remember how I got it working again. Thanks so much.
I originally had my primary alias set to my Yahoo! account, but I would never receive emails through the mail app. My Gmail account worked perfectly, so I assumed that it had something to do with the fact that I rarely even use the Yahoo account, and probably
just hadn't remembered the password correctly or something. But when I tried to re-sync it so that I'd actually get emails, it wouldn't let me change anything, so I renamed my primary alias to the Gmail account, assuming that because I actually knew the account
information, it would sync properly, and I'd continue getting mail. Instead, the Gmail account stopped working, even though the Yahoo email works fine now that it's only a secondary alias. What am I doing wrong? Do I just need to get Outlook? Because no offense,
but I'd rather not add another email to the list.

I have set up two Yahoo accounts on my Samsung Galaxy S3. My first email is doing fine, no problems. My second email will work fine for a week, then I'll get the message, "Sign In Failed. Incorrect User Name or Password." Yet, I can log into my email through
the Internet browser on my PC and phone using the information that is supposedly wrong.
I've removed the account and added it back on without hassle before. Now, however, it's not letting me do such action. I've even used the app specifically for adding a Yahoo email account to my Galaxy S3. However, when I try with that method, instead of
the regular email method, I get Account setup error occurred: Failed to add account. I've used my Wifi connection to try to add. I've disabled that and tried to use the 4G connection. Both are not letting me adding this account through Yahoo email app. My
password is only 8 characters long, so it's not a ridiculous length. What's happening? Setting up the account was fine before, but now I'm having all this trouble with adding it.

My 85-year-old father's yahoo account was hacked and his email was forwarded without his knowledge or consent to a hotmail account that was created to mimic his yahoo email address - same front end, different backend (x...@yahoo.com and x...@hotmail.com).
The email is no longer being forwarded, but this person is still using the fraudulent hotmail account. He would like to get the fraudulent email account closed. Microsoft live chat was unhelpful. What can he do?
