Is there anyway to expand (horizontally) my outlook inbox window? When I open an email, the message is "squeezed" in the middle (see image below). There is column to the right with nothing in it. Why can't you expand the inbox window to use this space? Right now it is painfully slow reading large emails  since you have keep dragging the position bar below back and forth while scrolling.

For what it's worth Yahoo mail has a similar page layout, but you can click a small arrow and make this right column disappear.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am a owner of a website with 400k register users.  I did all the steps listed on the outlook postmaster web page so that password verification emails are sent to the inbox and not the junk folder.  Microsoft SmartScreen dumps all emails from my domain and answers.microsoft.com in the Junk folder.  So either microsoft.com does not follow their own bulk email rules or Microsoft SmartScreen is seriously broken.  You tell me.  Also I have no issues with Gmail or Yahoo mail.

This is yet another reason why MS has failed the end user market and will only be company for enterprises (until their competition breaks there grip on corporations).

Hopefully MS will pick a better CEO that will unite all the 'divisions' in the company.

FYI it may take me awhile to respond to replies b/c all emails sent from answers.microsft are sent to my Junk folder.

For the last three days, I have been receiving duplicate emails in my outlook.com account.  I have checked my Outlook client, and my email account is not set up on it.  I have checked the Windows Live Mail client, and the email account is not set up in that.  I did have a Yahoo mail account forwarding to my outlook, but I have even stopped that in an attempt to fix the duplicate email problem.  No luck.  For that reason, I don't think it's a POP issue.

If I send an email to myself, I get three copies of it--2 received and a copy of the sent mail--in my inbox.  I always get a copy in my inbox of a mail I've sent.  I do NOT get duplicate copies of Facebook emails (oddly), but get two copies of all other emails sent to me, including Amazon, personal emails, etc.

There are no other accounts set up in my email.  Also, when adding my account to my Windows phone, I cannot add it as an Outlook account.  It will only work as a Hotmail account.  My account was recently affected by the Outlook outage that lasted a couple of days, and then I got an influx of 500+ emails (all copies of old emails--even deleted ones) after my email started working again.  The duplicate emails started after this influx of emails.

I have also tried changing my password, etc.  I have no idea how to solve this problem, as I've tried everything I've read, and I'm getting tired of getting two copies of every email and a copy of every email I send to someone else.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello,

I have seen a couple of previous threads on this, but I am getting the same problem now.  I had to change my Yahoo! Mail password (and I am a Yahoo! Mail Plus subscriber).  When I went to update the password in Outlook.com's more mail options, the e-mail would no longer come over to my outlook.com Inbox.  I have tried deleting the account and adding it again, to no avail.  I have also tried to move all messages out of my inbox and then adding the account as suggested by one other poster.  Please let me know if there are any resolutions for this issue or if you are experiencing the same thing.

Thank you.

Window's Live Mail.  I am not receiving attachments into live mail.  I can find them in Yahoo Mail so I'm getting them, they just don't come into my computer.  I have followed the live mail Help instructions to clear the box "do not allow att" etc under Junk Mail Security tab, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.  Any suggestions?

If I have the two-step verification on, does that affect Outlook.com from accessing Yahoo Mail plus? I currently have it on.
