My wife now gets this message when she attempts to access her email.  (She uses Outlook to connect to her MSN / Hotmail).  She is prompted to have her security information sent to a Yahoo email account.  She does not have an email account at Yahoo.  Is this request legit or has she picked up malware somewhere?

I have a Yahoo! Plus account which I have used for a long time as a send and receive account added to my Outlook (previously Live) online mail, which has suddenly stopped working. I have tried removing it and adding it again, I have tried deleting absolutely everything in the Yahoo! account but like everyone else, I get the message "Check your email address and password, but the problem may be that Yahoo! requires you to subscribe to Yahoo! Mail Plus.". My subscription with Yahoo! for Plus is fine, the account is enabled for POP - I didn't change any settings and it was working fine until just a few days ago.

I see Moderators have posted private messages to other people who posted this problem - did anyone get a solution? Can I have one please?

Thanks!

Starting July 28th 2013 I can no longer receive email on the Outlook Web app! My sister is having the same issue and we have had to resort to going back directly to Yahoo to get our mail. I have an att.net email address and have never had issues until the 28th. Please help....!! I can still send email from the web but can not receive any.

I have a sbcglobal.net account that was sending and receiving perfectly in my outlook.com until 7/30/2013. It was hacked by an alias dancer_lkg4_dancer which I removed and created a NEW 15 character password. ATT and Yahoo both checked with me and cleaned all points out of my email. I can send and receive in yahoo, but can only send in outlook 2013. I went in to outlook to edit my account. No luck. I then tried to delete it and reenter. No luck again. I now can only send and not receive. I have checked all parts of my account, settings, and have talked to SEVEN people to try to fix this. HELP!!

i have seen others with this same issue and the forum moderator sets up a private chat.

This has been working for a while and on july 26th just stopped recving emails via yahoo.  my account for yahoo plus is still good and not due for an payment for three months.

i can send email just not receive through outlook.com

I have set up two Yahoo accounts on my Samsung Galaxy S3. My first email is doing fine, no problems. My second email will work fine for a week, then I'll get the message, "Sign In Failed. Incorrect User Name or Password." Yet, I can log into my email through the Internet browser on my PC and phone using the information that is supposedly wrong.

I've removed the account and added it back on without hassle before. Now, however, it's not letting me do such action. I've even used the app specifically for adding a Yahoo email account to my Galaxy S3. However, when I try with that method, instead of the regular email method, I get Account setup error occurred: Failed to add account. I've used my Wifi connection to try to add. I've disabled that and tried to use the 4G connection. Both are not letting me adding this account through Yahoo email app. My password is only 8 characters long, so it's not a ridiculous length. What's happening? Setting up the account was fine before, but now I'm having all this trouble with adding it.

Hello:

My Outlook.com account rejected an email forwarded to it from a Yahoo account showing the above error message, which I guess relates to Outlook policy.

This was just an ordinary email containing .jpg's  of classic cars from the 50"s, nothing more.

This is the second time this has happened with the last week, but have not had this problem prior to that.

I cannot understand why it was rejected in the first place, but am concerned about it becoming a persistent problem.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks, Michael
