Hello,
I have been trying to access my Windows Live account so I can transfer files to a new Windows Phone and have been unable to get anywhere with it. My username and password is accepted, then the prompt says:
"Your account is missing some key info
Before you can continue, you need to provide it. We respect your privacy and will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy."
I provide the info they ask for, click "I accept," and the same page comes up again without the info I typed in. This has happened using both Internet Explorer and Firefox on 2 separate computers running Windows 7 and on the new phone's web browser. After speaking with online support and calling tech support, they haven't been able to help except to say I need to post a question here to get anything done.
What do I need to do at this point in order to fully access my Windows Live account to transfer everything to my new phone so I can mail the old one as a trade-in?
