Jenuwynn or anyone else: I have the same problem as Mark_M, posted on October 24, 2012. Mine started three days ago. Up until that time everything was working perfectly. I have Windows 7 on my computer and am using Windows Live Mail which goes through the Comcast
isp server. I can receive email on my computer but I cannot send or reply to emails.
Server: smtp.comcast.net
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCCOE
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25;
Secure (SSL): No
Socket Error: 10013. Note that everything is as in the above attached quote except the Socket Error number. I have tried everything I can think of with no positive result. I can only send or reply to emails by going to the Comcast Website and doing it there.
