Assuming as I do that it would be reckless in the extreme for me as an attorney to use only the web (skydrive.live.com) rather than using the skydrive app (sometimes called the skydrive desktop tool--pls correct me if they are not in fact one and the same) which simultaneously stores on hard drive, is it all stored on a root skydrive folder on hard drive? Specifically, please tell me in the following scenario which is correct or if neither is correct:

If under present local storage, my files (say document XYZ below) are (under netwok drive) stored as follows:

                          K Drive
                                1000
                                     1000.1
                                             Jo Schmo
                                                Document XYZ

and if I am working on that Document XYZ will skydrive  first, start a whole new tree, or will it retain the tree, substituting only "Sky Drive" for "K Drive". Second, assuming the latter because I opened up Document XYZ, what about a new document--do I immediately on starting need to "save as" somewhwere in order o avoid it falling into some SD default hole? Reading the stuff about where SD is saving on hard drive, some users seem not to be able to locate exactly where particular files are sited by sky drive.
