I've been told by Microsoft Support, on Twitter, that IMAP can be used as the default protocol for fetching emails but for the love of God I can't figure out how to do that. Any suggestions?
Microsoft recently introduced IMAP support for Outlook.com So, it strikes me as a bit odd that IMAP isn't the default email fetching method for send & receive accounts (like Gmail), in Outlook.com, and instead the antiquated POP is still used as the de-facto
protocol.
