I cannot connect to my email through Windows Live Mail 2011 at all. The program tries to connect and authorize but never completes. I have confirmed ports and settings with Comcast twice. I have turned off my virus protection software, and then tried
to completely uninstall the Norton program but neither of those steps had any effect. I receive the following error message each time I try to open my email:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Comcast ......... account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
