WARNING: I'm going to be very thorough with my problem as I was unable to find any solutions and I am determined to find a solution that does not involve deleting my account.
So I am logging on to my Xbox account (a Child's account) where I get a notice requiring me to sign the new Terms of Use. This would normally not be a problem except that the parent account that allows my to accept the Terms no longer exists. It may be worth
mentioning also that I have no idea what the password is as I created an account just a few days before I turned 18 not knowing that parental consent was required so I pretty much just made up the details of the parent account.
In an attempt to resolve the problem, I tried to long on to my Xbox Live account on my computer so that I could promote the child account to an adult account. When I attempted to do this, I was again sent to the Terms of Use page where I push "I Accept." However,
I was then returned to the sign in page. I have tried this multiple times but it appears that I am unable to accept the Terms of Use anywhere I go.
Through research I have noticed countless others who have a similar problem so I cannot imagine that there is not a sensible solution that does not require me to delete my account. My understanding was that this problem would not be resolved on the Xbox Live
forums so I then turned to the Microsoft forums.
Any information would be helpful!
